Member Guidelines?
At theclubnetwork we connect private sports clubs so that their members can play at any other registered club around the country. In order to get the most out of membership a set of guidelines has been produced, so that you can start enjoying the benefits membership can bring. Register here.
Member Guidelines
These guidelines are intended to give you an idea of theclubnetworks workings and are not a fully comprehensive set of rules. They are meant to only guide you through the basics of membership with theclubnetwork. For a full set of terms and conditions please refer to your terms and conditions whilst registering, otherwise contact theclubnetwork for a full copy.
- Members can only register if the club, they are a member of, has already registered.
- When you are visiting an away club, you will be able to use the facilities that your home club has registered with theclubnetwork. e.g If you are a member of Guildford tennis and squash club, and your club has only registered tennis as a main sports facility, then you will only be able to play tennis at an away club. Details of the facilities your club has registered are detailed in you control panel under "Allocated sports". Or if you haven't registered yet, can be located on the 'Members' section under 'Search clubs' on our home page. Your club can amend this at any time, and you will be notified via email immediately of any changes your club makes.
- When playing a visiting club player please show them your club's facilities, as this might be their first visit. If time permits give them a short tour of your club.
- Once registered there is a cooling off period of two weeks when you will be able to login to your account and play opponents. In this time your club has to confirm that you are a member of their club, this then confirms your membership with theclubnetwork.
- Individual clubs can limit the amount times a member visits their club over the year. Details of this can be found in your control panel area under 'search clubs'. However you can visit as many clubs as you like during the year.
- Please be courteous and obey the club's rules whilst at an away club. Do not forget that you are representing your club when you playing other clubs.
- You are entitled to use any other facility listed in the facility section of theclubnetwork. It is prudent to revise this information before playing at other clubs.
- When playing an away club player, or visiting player, please behave in an appropriate manner. Turn up on time and wear appropriate clothing for the sport you wish to participate in. Do NOT forget to offer to pay at least half the court costs, should your opponent have paid in advance!
